Carbo Energy – Production of hardwood charcoal for grill and barbecue

Carbo Energy Ltd. is established in 2011. Since then the company has participated in multiple successful projects and relations with both Bulgarian and international partners.
The company’s main business is the production of hardwood charcoal.
We have a newly built dedicated production facility at our disposal, located in Troyan city.
The hardwood charcoal is produced utilizing modern technology: carbonization of solid hardwood using retort method. The installed charcoal production facilities are ecologically clean, and the employed method produces no waste.
The feedstock used for the production of hardwood charcoal is mainly hornbeam, oak and beech.

Modern Production Facility

We have at our disposal a newly built contemporary factory where the production process takes place. The monthly capacity of the plant is 100 metric tons.

Automated process

The process for monitoring and controlling the pyrolysis is completely automated. This allows to maintain constant quality and properties of the produced hardwood charcoal.

High quality raw material

Our hardwood charcoal are produced mainly from hornbeam, oak and beech, exhibiting best in class properties and caloricity during combustion.
